Reviewed yesterday NEW

Me and partner love going out for lunch and dinner trying new places in London. I've heard a lot about BBB but mostly about theinteriror rather than food. Before going there we never checked reviews and now I understand that we should have as this amount of negative reviews is not ok for a London restaurant with prices like that!... More

I am writing this on behalf of my parents, who btw are super cool and well dressed. They were having dinner at a local restaurant and told the couple they were meeting to meet them for a pre dinner drink at BBB (a bar that we have all occasionally come to for decades). On arrival they were told they were... More

Dark rooms, upper level and basement feel like dungeons, tolerable service and food, dirty glasses. The dim light does not allow you to see what you are eating.

Dear mdikom Thank you for taking time to provide feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are not a fan of our quirky building and apologise profusely for the dirty glasses and 'tolerable service and food'. I will of course speak with our floor and kitchen teams in order to make improvements. I do hope you may give us... More

A group of 22 of us were here last night, Saturday 13th May for my daughters hen night. Despite some issues with the booking (which were positively resolved prior to the evening with the manager) we had a great evening. Food was good, staff were attentive and very pleasant and the atmosphere was great. My daughter had a great night.... More

Great decor, interesting nooks and crannies. Good service. Very disappointing food. I sent my lamb cutlets back as too salty to eat. New food provided which was an improvement but had to eat after my friends. The green vegetable curry was provided as a watery soup with veg floating. All in all a nice place for an expensive cocktail but... More

Turned up to Beach Blanket Babylon and first impressions were very good. The interior looked very stylish and I suddenly felt conscious of my choice in clothes that day. We were seated quickly at a table which our friends reserved for four. The table we were given was quite small and not in the best place in the restaurant but... More

...as I feel that my terrible experience has to be shared. Having always wanted to try this place, I booked a table for brunch for four (but now severely wish I hadn't – should have consulted tripadvisor first). I sadly cannot offer one single positive thing for this restaurant. It took forever to get served and we had to check... More

Been here 3 times with my boyfriend: nye, our anniversary and one time for no special occasion. It's always been good, food is really nice, nice atmosphere, and good service. The only thing to criticise, if i wanna be strict is that, they didnt have sparkling water last time we were there and it took a bit long for the... More

I decided to have brunch last sunday here with my mum and my friend- She ordered the pancakes, which after a 45 minute wait arrived totally black. We told the grumpy, impatient Italian waiter and he took them away to be remade. In this time my mother and finished our food- I ordered the Avocado and Eggs which was ok,... More

I love this place for the quirky decor, it is currently being refurbished so will be interesting to see the effect of these minor improvements. This time I just had cocktails and am always impressed by the unusual selection on offer. Nothing on the food menu jumped out at me so we ate elsewhere, when I have eaten there previously... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
