Open 24 hours a day, there is always a que waiting to get these sandwiches. Have your order practiced and ready by the time you get to the front or the staff will not be happy with you. Great corned beef sandwiches, and excellent bagels....More

I nipped in here for a quick bite, fancied a salt beef Sarnie, 1st point to note was the queue. A long queue is normally a good thing for eateries, it confirms to me that it's well recommended and liked, eventually go to the front,...More

This or next door? We tried both. This place had a long queue which is always a good sign! But.. I was slightly disappointed that the salt beef bagels were pre-made and were drying on the counter - understandable considering the queue, but a point...More

There was a big queue. The hygiene looked dodgy and the serving lady was cursing me under her breath because I asked for mustard at the 'wrong' time ... but the food is fabulously authentic. We had salt beef beigel with gherkin and English mustard....More

After waiting a good 10 min I had a salt beef bagel with everything on it. The line was very long but well worth the wait. If definitely go there again and order two for myself next time.

Eat a salt beef bagel with mustard and a gherkin. Less than a £10 for two and they are so huge it's a good cheap tea. Read about this place and it lived up to reputation. Would go back for sure!

The bagel was cold and half baked, same for rolls.Salt beef was okay. You can find more attractive places on Brick Lane.

Excellent value for money - it would have been impossible to get more meat in my beigel. The staff were really busy and made sure you didn't really have to wait for long. We found no problem with the way we were served understanding that...More

I've popped in here a few times and always go for the salt beef beigel. In general, everything here is great value for money, particularly if you grab a cup of tea, or a pastry, a lot of which are less than a pound each....More

The queue was long, the staff rushed and brusque. Conditions; stark and cramped. The meal was four basic looking ingredients piled together as fast as was humanly possible. But good lord, what a sandwich. I bought myself a Salt Beef Bagel: A hill of silky...More

With the way that the line moves, super fast, I doubt that they accept anything other than cash.

I'm not affiliated with Beigel Bake in any way, BUT, I do know the owners intimately and they have in fact expressed a desire to open another restaurant in Canterbury, Kent. However, they're most keen to open it inside the... More
