Nathan Outlaw is fast becoming one of the UK's top chefs, especially for fish dishes. Tom Brown is the head chef at Outlaws at the Capital Hotel in London, and this is where we had lunch. As with many top chefs, Tom Brown has appeared...More

Truly excellent food. The set menus are astonishingly good value for central London, but particularly so for this quality of lunch. Staff were charming and attentive. We stayed for much longer than planned but did not feel in the least hurried to leave.

Although we arrived a couple of minutes after 12, we had to wait 7 or 8 minutes before we were able to go through to the restaurant. Although there is a very nice bar, I’d have preferred to go straight through to the table. We...More

We had the 5 course tasting menu and a lovely Cornish white wine on Saturday evening - all excellent - and we thought the service from the staff was also spot on. We will definitely go again.

I ate at Outlaw's in Foy 15 years ago, which was one of the best meals I have ever experienced. Sadly, which is maybe unfair to the restaurant, I compared yesterday's lunch to that one and it was not of the same caliber. The fish...More

Very good restaurant in the Capitol Hotel in London. Refined and rare, well made and in some cases delicious. This small restaurant specializes in sea food and fish. The octupes with beans was excellent. The fish cod and monkfish very good. The wine list is...More
