You know you have reached a certain age when you are anything other than glowing about a place like The Green Note so I am sure these words are coloured by the performance last night. Unfair on the two, entrepreneurial owners who have opened a...More

What would we do without the Green Note? I discovered this excellent, unpretentious music venue thanks to my guitar teacher, who I've seen perform here with his band on a couple of occasions (they're fantastic). The main bar area has unreserved seating if you make...More

If you love music, this place is a must in London. It is cosy, intimate and has a lovely ambience about it. The acoustics are just perfect. We saw Samantha Whates and Adam Beattie who were both brilliant. The tickets are really cheap as well....More

So few places where there is good music in an intimate setting. Food reasonable, drinks ok but good musicians playing for small audiences. Recommended.

This is a music venue not a restaurant. 2 stages as others have said, upstairs and smaller cellar area which holds only 25. Small intimate and friendly, really close to the action. Good sound in the cellar, worth visiting.

We were first in the queue - had to wait until 7:25 to get in. Got a table near the small stage - just like in your own front room! Felt like a session with a bunch of mates. Food is veggie light bites. Great...More

One of the best small venues for live music anywhere in the country. If you love folk, blues, country and jazz this is the place for you.
