I have been walking by this place several time and ended up going twice in the same week. Once for a quick lunch, once for a romantic diner. Large range of wine at different price , by the glass or the bottle. I trusted every time the owner choice,Thierry, to match the gorgeous food we had. Great selection of organic... More

Quite big selection of wines from all over Europe. The staff is very polite and friendly but the menu could be more extensive. Reservations for dinner are suggested!

Such a lovely place, the staff were amazing and had fantastic knowledge when it came to their wine list. The menu is small but the food was incredible.

I have never written a Tripadvisor review before but my experience at Anitdote last night has compelled me to. I went there for dinner last night with two other friends. When our order was finally taken (after about 40 minutes) we ordered three starters / sharing plates (brown shrimps, radishes in truffle oil and a bread basket) and three main... More

Is the third time that I experienced this place and i have to say I love it ! The product are excellent, as the wine. I think everything is well chosen and the bread is... so delicious, like in France. A big thank you to Thierry, the Owner of this lovely wine bar.

Delightful restaurant in a quiet lane near Carnaby street . We had a relaxed lunch for 2, sharing plates from the list of starters . All were delicious and served with some excellent bread and butter . This was washed down by a crisp white wine . The wine list is very good and this bottom priced wine (£38) was... More

We went here a Friday evening, nothing on the food menu stood out to us but we had some wine, cheese and some Coppa (cured meat). Everything tasted fantastic and the atmosphere was good and the staff were helpful. Its a nice wine bar in the center of soho and accordingly it was very expensive which was the only real... More

I was meeting a friend/ex-colleague for a catch up last Friday, and as the coffee shop next door was full, she suggested we meet at Antidote instead. After I arrived we ordered some sparkling water - which was brought to us in one of those standard house bottles where the water is carbonated (and perhaps filtered) tap water, rather than... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
