While the downstairs has a great atmosphere the upstairs does not. The selection of wines by the glass is best described as "odd" and certainly not worth the prices being charged (typically £11-15 for a 175ml glass). The menu is small (which is fine) yet...More

Four of us got in to Antidote for a pit stop five minutes before the heavens opened so we stayed for a bit. Couple of bottle of Cremant and glasses of red wine later things were much better. Hard to determine the quality of the...More

Given this is off Carnaby Street Soho, Antidote is reasonably priced for above average cuisine and wine. Tables are well placed so you don't have to chew in unison with the other diners. We went upstairs and enjoyed a little more peace and music than...More

Tucked away among the tourist pubs of Soho, this restaurant features a limited, varying menu of creative French classics using fresh ingredients. Splendid food, excellent wine list, lovely atmosphere. A romantic sanctuary. Just don't come in asking for a lager!

Antidote restaurant and wine bar has been pleasing palates for over 15 years. Antidote's kitchen is run by talented Head Chef Michael Hazlewood who serves a constantly changing menu featuring some of the most impressive seasonal produce you'll find anywhere in the capital. With an impressive list of finely sourced organic and biodynamic wines, it's the perfect place to enjoy inventive cooking and a good few glasses of wine. The venue is spread over two floors and features a bookable outdoor terrace and cheese and charcuterie bar on the ground floor and a recently refurbished bright and elegant dining room on the first floor.
