Classical, old school French cuisine, when food actually have flavors, rich, distinctive and robust. Soufflé Suissesse is a must have. Ground floor Bar/Lounge is a great buffer to have a few aperitifs before dining in the basement. Club-like design with great use of Bordeaux red...More

M Roux must be the envy of many restauranteurs. He has comfortably married success without the stress of chasing the 3rd star that is aspired to by so many. The restaurant has the feeling of being properly broken-in, but isn't looking tired in any way....More

Top tip; If ever you want to visit Le Gavroche by avoiding the 3 month waiting list, the next time the country grinds to a halt due to a weather event, give them a call. They had a lot of no shows. From the outset...More

We had the business lunch which I must say was lovely. Each course was just delicious. We were served canapés and a complimentary taster course which was a pleasant surprise. The accompanying breads were very generous and fresh. The two wines we chose off the...More

They say that reaching the top is the easy part, staying there is the hard part. Well if its so hard how has Le Gavroche managed to do it for so long. My wife and I hadn't been back for a while, (lets face it,...More

A glass of champagne was £19 - a bottle of champagne £100 I think the wine started at £80 . Pricey !

I very much doubt they allow dogs, obviously guide dogs, but this is a luxurious, high end restaurant.

I would advise you call the restaurant direct - however, it is unusual to see dogs in high class eateries. Enjoy your visit.

The first UK restaurant to be awarded one, two, and then three Michelin stars, Le Gavroche remains a class apart. Since opening in 1967, this Mayfair bastion of French cuisine has been very much a family affair, and chef-patron Michel Roux Jr continues the tradition today. The elegance of the menu and the ambience is impeccably tailored, while the discreet service has won its own plaudits.
