Visited The Wetfish Cafe for dinner and took advantage of the early bird special with the two courses. It was delicious! The service was also great. Will definitely be going back. Only remembered to take a picture of the lovely cappuccino I had after dinner!

I went to the Wet Fish Cafe for lunch with a friend last year and was not overly impressed but decided to give it another try as the location suits us both. But I won't bother again when there is a wide choice in the...More

We were there on saturday. We passed by and decided to go. Now we know why this place is always full. Nice and friendly service. I ordered a steak. I do not remember the last time I ate such a perfectly cooked steak. The fish...More

I came here for my mother after moving to the area, in fact it was the first restaurant I ate at in West Hampstead! We ordered three courses, every course was just as spectacular as the last. I had scallops and steak, both incredible. The...More

Previously reviewed in September'14 when I said quirky and so it remains. Normally go for dinner but yesterday took my daughter there for late breakfast/lunch. Always a great ambience and smiling well trained staff that a certain cafe bakery close by, G...s could do well...More

This place has a nice vibe but the food was mostly very disappointing. The prawn cocktail comprised a few chewy small prawns, a small slice of hard avocado and some very thin Marie Rose sauce. Very lazy and only just edible The cod in tempura...More

We choose this restaurant because we love seafood and we were impressed by the freshness of the food and fish. The battered cod is amazing and the scallops with bacon were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. You will need to book as it is very...More

Would highly recommend this restaurant. We got their early bird menu, which was excellent value for money, and a carafe of wine which is something I really appreciate in a restaurant. The décor, atmosphere and service were all very good. To start I had the...More

This was my first time visiting the wet fish but with a friend who has been several times and highly recommended the restaurant. The restaurant is small (very much suggested in the name cafe) and is set out very much like a cafe. There is...More

Description
Cafe by day and brasserie by night, The Wet Fish Cafe is perfect for cosy, romantic meals or lazy weekend brunches. Set in one of London's historic 'wet fish' shops in West Hampstead, the original Art Deco wall tiles and eclectic interior create a warm, neighbourly atmosphere. Good music, serious cocktails and the Wet Fish Cafe's own brand of "modern comfort food", the seasonally changing menu is short and offers freshly cooked fish, meat and veggie dishes. The Early Bird menus offer excellent value (on tables returned by 8pm and all evening every Monday).
