This was a very enjoyable meal from one of the top two restaurants on this strip (I have been to nearly all of them). We arrived too late for a proper three course dinner but the two mains we had - pork belly and brill...More

I have dined at Moro twice before; one meal was very good, the other disappointing. On this latest occasion my wife and I dined in this busy restaurant on a Saturday night, The tables are quite close together but not too crowded. From a menu...More

I have eaten here an number of times over the years and love the cookbook. Lacklustre food hiding behind some strong flavours . The pork belly looked a mess on the plate., swimming in some undefinable liquid. Watercress on everything- had it with the starter...More

Enjoyed a lazy Saturday lunch here, not too busy which was great. The service is friendly and laid back, staff were really helpful talking us through some the more unusual items on the menu. The Fattoush to start had a real kick of spices and...More

The four of us arrived for dinner without a reservation but were seated immediately. The service throughout was attentive and pleasant. All the food was of the highest quality, served beautifully and quickly. This was an excellent dining experience, which I'd recommend highly to anyone

A work colleague and I had lunch at Moro last week, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We had starters that were okay but unfortunately when the main courses arrived they were stone cold, something we couldn't believe with the restaurant not being busy. We sent...More

Out of the restaurants I have eaten in recently Moro stand out as the best. The food is not precious but obviously created by a chef with great taste. The bread was great tasting and fresh. I had the cuttlefish to start - which was...More

We were disappointed as we were recommended this place as a tapas place. We were only given restaurant menus with no tapas and only realised later that you had to order tapas at the bar if you wanted any but this was never mentioned to...More

Had a very early lunch sitting with colleagues and as it was a beautiful day chose to sit outside. Exmouth Market is a busy little foods street with cafes and street food vendors so it was a really nice atmosphere. It was a Tuesday but...More

Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Description
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
