Just been landed with a 190 quid bill for a meal for two. This place is an absolute ripoff and a former shadow of what it used to be. Had to send the lobster back as it was so overcooked. Chicken was also overcooked but I couldn't be bothered to send that back also. The worst thing is my local... More

Some of the best Thai food i have ever eaten. Yes it's a bit pricey but it is so definitely worth it. Incredible choice in both food and drink.

We stumbled across Patara while we were exploring Oxford Circus. We liked the lively atmosphere, the tasty food and the friendly service. The menu options are plentiful and varied.

Very nice food. Quick and efficient and the rice was brilliant. Wasn't cheap though, £15 for lunch stopped it being 5 rated.

Went with 2 friends on a Wednesday night, was fairly busy and we had a great meal without being hurried and rushed. The Thai green curry was great with a good amount of heat. Looking forward to going back.

Far from authentic Thai. Had duck spring rolls then beef cheek red curry. Spring rolls meat only, no veg and lacked Thai flavours. It got worse on the main. Beef in a red sauce on a plate. Unlike any Thai dish I have seen. No veg so could be sold as side dishes. Flavour way of. Thai curry is a... More

Absolute stunning (even though a bit pricey) thai food. Had lunch there 3 times in less than 3 weeks, and have just been asked to give them the table back while still finishing my drink!!! Won't be going back ever again, and I suggest you stay well away from this restaurant if you want to get a welcoming service.

While service was brilliant and the waiters very attentive, the food was too expensive for what it was.

I had a brief business lunch here yesterday and the food was excellent! Great look and feel to the place, and I did like the menu options which offered and "express lunch", a"2 course business lunch" and then the regular menu. The food was excellent, and the other dishes we saw coming out the the restaurant looked amazing (I wish... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
