We had dinner at Phoenix Palace midweek. This is a large traditional styled Chinese restaurant. It is generally quite busy, so be sure to book a table. There is an internal bustle typical of Chinese restaurants - waiters rushing back and forth with multiple trays...More

Over the past decade my friends and I feel that the quality of food served in Chinese restaurants has deteriorated. The reason being the old chefs from Hong Kong retire and their children do not want to be in the restaurant business. These chefs cook...More

This restaurant is not cheap but it is amazing. I never mind paying for good value and would happily eat here every week if I could afford it . Our waitress from Nepal was the highlight of our dinning experience she was delightful.

One of the better Chinese cuisine I have tasted in London. Food served was high in quality, waiting time wasn't too bad. But it is a Chinese restaurant afterall therefore do not expect it to be quiet like a fine dine restaurant especially during peak...More

I definitely won't be going back to this restaurant despite the convenience of parking and of being near to baker street tube station. The dimsum was below average and worse than the other Chinatown restaurants. I would avoid these dishes: the beef shin in chilli...More

We go here for a special occasion. The food is the best Chinese food I've ever had. Once we turned up on Chinese New Year and didn't realise. They went to every single effort to fit us in. Beautiful restaurant and the staff are fantastic.

Took my son for lunch. I was enchanted by the decor and the friendly staff. Really beautiful smart restaurant. We had two portions of special fried rice and a portion of hot chilli chicken between us which was plenty and amazing. I had a glass...More

And it is not cheap, not like the average Chinese shop. But the dim sums are really good, in my opinion, consistently one of the best places in London for the segment. Dishes and veggies are plenty and tasty (mains tend to be covered in...More

Visiting the Phoenix Palace is like going back to the Chinese restaurants that used to exist in every large town or city in England. Over-the-top, slightly tacky decor with waiters rushing around with food, drink, plates, chairs and table tops. OK, the service is a...More

We had a lovely dinner, the food was great, the staff were very friendly. But when I ordered a pot of jasmine tea and asked the head waitress for an extra teacup so that my aunt could try it, she refused and told me she...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

I don't think so as you know majority of restaurant don't but if you ask, they might do it for you and also depend on what the dishes is. Dim Sum the pastry is made from rice. Good luck
