If you want to have a conversation with the person you are having dinner with, this is the last place you should come. Literally every 2 to 3 minutes someone interrupts you to ask the same questions, wine? ‘No we aren’t drinking’, wine? Then it’s...More

Superb French cuisine. Expensive for sure, but in fact fairly good value for money given the oustanding quality. Would definitely deserve a second Michelin star in my opinion.

What a fantastic dinner and experience! Food was outstanding! Staff were brilliant and so accommodating, we had the 8 course tasting menu, I told them I didn’t like cheese so they did me a separate amuse bouche and instead of a cheese course they did...More

We have always loved Pied a Terre and it was first on our list to host our thirtieth anniversary dinner. We enjoyed excellent cocktails on the bar, followed by a wonderful tasting menu in the private dining room, which is gorgeous. Food was fabulous, service...More

We finally found the chance to return and it didn’t disappoint again. Service is understated, food is delicious and you can’t fault the value for money.

The lunch menu here is a great way to dine at a Michelin Star restaurant without giving up your first born. The service was polite without being stuffy and the food was excellent.

The food was obviously good but I personally didn’t think it met the worthiness of a Michelin Star. However the service was outstanding as you’d expect and the atmosphere was on point. I will definitely return to see if this was just an ‘off day’...More

Thank you for your feedback, although I would have liked a little more detail. An 'off day' implies that something was wrong rather than not being up to the mark, which has left me pondering rather than being able to take on board. As we...More

Many thanks for your super review. The chefs are very good at multi-tasking I have to admit - and they love to meet the diners. Very glad you had a great experience. Thanks again and see you soon, David

Many thanks for the feedback. Am rather cheekily contemplating what would deserve a five star review - not many chefs would give an explanation in person - but very pleased you enjoyed it. Kind regards, David

I don't think this restaurant would be suitable for a 3 year old, its a bit on the serious side of eating as you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant and a meal could last a long time.

Description
Located in Fitzrovia, the heart of the West End, Pied a Terre is one of the capital's most established fine dining, Michelin-starred restaurants. Although established in 1991, it has been under the guidance of David Moore since 1998 and has gone on to gain some of the highest gastronomic awards and accolades possible. Beautifully appointed and radiating modest quality, the restaurant is charmingly intimate. As you expect, the service is professional yet discreet in order to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. For larger parties, the second floor private dining room seats up to 13 guests and comes with butler style service at no extra cost. Diners can also enjoy La Petite Chambre bar on the first floor for drinks and canapes or exclusive wine tasting events. The cuisine is both simple and inventive, with care and attention to detail as the focus. Combine this dining experience with the outstanding selection of wines, and you have a match made in heaven.
