Popped by for cake and tea and have never been so impressed. Shared a gluten free brownie and banana and butterscotch cake with a friend and couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. The portion sizes were huge and will definitely be coming back. Recommend to anyone 😊

Lovely little cafe on Royal Hill, run by Mo. Very reasonable, great coffee and chilled atmosphere. Daily posh papers, local art. No pretensions, lovely cakes, super scones and...brilliant chocolate milkshakes. Dogs welcomed. What more could you want?

Lovely vegetarian place (bar the smoked salmon) for breakfast. Great service, high quality teas and coffee. Huevos Bravos divine too. A bit small so arrive early at the weekend.

Have brought our puppy in here with no issue and staff wanting to pick him up etc and stroke him- however after walk with friends, while sitting outside we put the puppy on a spare picnic chair to take a photo (chairs were grubby outdoor things) and despite having waiting 20 mins for any staff to acknowledge us, a dreadlocked... Lovely little cafe serving great coffee. It's particularly good for brunch - eggs royale etc. Good cakes too.

I love popping in to Royal Teas. The staff are so welcoming and the price for a cream tea, breakfast or lunch is such value. It truly is one of the joys of Royal Hill in Greenwich SE10. It has in fact won acclaim as being one of the top 10, maybe even the top 5 places to have cream... More

Whilst visiting some friends in London we made plans to go out for breakfast the following morning. After a quick google of cafes in the local are we settled on royal teas. I had the huevos bravas ( I think it was called) served with delicious thick cut fresh bread and lots of butter. The tea was delicious and everyone... More

I had visitors yesterday and I knew they loved Royal Teas when they lived in London. So I thought it would be lovely for them to revisit And they (nor I) was disappointed. In fact the complete opposite The afternoon tea (a snip at under £8) is up with the best in London and the service was as delightful as... More

...but that wouldn't be fair. Service is excellent, attentive, friendly, accommodating staff (who didn't mind when I sat there for hours, even though the venue is on the cosy side), good short menu (they're not trying to do too much), and adorable ambiance--very kitsch. Looking forward to many future visits.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
