I took my disabled teenager here this evening for a treat which swiftly turned into a nightmare. We queued for ages only to find there were lots of empty tables downstairs and the truly nasty Japanese lady on reception simply could not be bothered to...More

We were seated downstairs as a table of four. The decor is quite basic but the waitress was very polite and we were served quickly. Complimentary green tea is served and topped up. The vegetable curry lunch meal was large and quite spicy. The cucumber...More

Sadly, the nearby Sushi Eatery (5* rated) was closed so we decided to try this place. I wish we hadn’t bothered. Despite it being mid afternoon on a weekday in February and the restaurant being nowhere near full the waitress was fussy and rude about...More

A really great restaurant, with wholesome Japanese food for decent prices and good quality. I ordered the Chicken Katsu which was really nice, crisp chicken, omelette like egg on top and good basic Japanese flavours. My friend ordered the Ramen which he said the broth...More

Just a little meet up with friends from America. So we needed a 6 person table. A short time later the friendly staff sat us down. The food is a little basic but great. Six meals for £75 in London.

I had soba soup which was delicious and very faily priced. The spinach starter is nothing to write home about and severely overpriced. Do not go downstairs expecting atmosphere, upstairs is much nicer.

We found the service polite and efficient at Tokyo Diner. The Nigiri and Maki were excellent, and at the sort of price you might expect in Central London (Japanese restaurants are not generally known for being budget places). The house wine was also fine and...More

First time receiving such appalling service.. Once we entered, the old japanese lady just pointed to a seat and it took a while for them to get our order. When taking the payment, she didn't speak a word and avoided eye contact with my boyfriend....More
