Overall just average. Thai spiced bream and Toulouse sausages both very good, but service lacking. Ordered a drink when food was served and nearly finished whole meal before going up to the bar myself (husband had already finished). Five more minutes before very weak gin...More

We tried this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel and weren't disappointed. There is a very nice wine list. We had appetizers followed by tasty entrees - I had sausages provencale over mashed potatoes. Friendly service and a local atmosphere and clientele.

We try to visit the Kitchen and Bar when we can as the menu never disappoints... specials are always yummy. Great customer service. Happy along side the vast wines list and spirits there's also a draft beer.

We found this place by chance on a Sunday evening, our last night in London. It was great. Good food and wine. Friendly staff. Relaxed but nice ambiance ( the tablecloths invited us in). Highly recommend it.

We found this place by chance whilst wandering in search of dinner. The staff were great, lovely meal and impressive wine list. Bream cooked to perfection. A really nice friendly feel. Would definitely go back.

First time here, compared local menus and this fit the bill for the diverse preferences of our 9 person family group. Totally meets expectations. Modest open plan but well spaced eating area, tasteful but not ostentatious decor. Lovely view of the open kitchen. Uncomplicated menu,...More

Our first time at the Waterloo bar and grill for an early pre-theatre supper and we weren't disappointed. The drinks, ambience and food were excellent and good value for money. On our arrival Eric our waiter greeted us like old friends and looked after us...More

The Waterloo Bar & Kitchen is right next door to The Old Vic Theatre on Waterloo Road, so it's handy for pre- and post-show meals. It's one large room with the kitchen at the back (watch them cooking) and a bar on the other side....More

I went here at random on a Wednesday night with my partner, as it was a nice evening and neither of us fancied cooking. A lovely surprise - the restaurant was quiet, intimate and had friendly staff. As neither of us was drinking, the non-alcoholic...More
