We were a slightly larger group than our original booking, however, the staff were very accommodating and made the adjustment to the seating to fit us on the terrace, without any fuss. Plus, the food was great.

The best steak (Chateaubriand, medium rare) I've ever had in the UK and one of the best (if not the best) I have ever had in my life! Staff friendly, excellent service. Highly recommend this place.

I have really struggled with my star rating for this restaurant. Do I award stars based on the positive elements or on the negative elements. I'm not sure which aspect outweighed the other but I finally decided to award a low star rating as, in...More

We booked in advance , which is a good idea if you want a table on the terrace over looking the Thames. Good service from the waiting staff throughout our visit. Decent varied menu. We had rib eye steaks which were cooked to our liking...More

We came across this pub by chance as we were on a long walk around the Docklands area and wanted a drink somewhere nice. It is down a small cobbled road off the main road and didn't look much from the outside. But once inside...More

My wife and I had a date night dinner at The Gun in the East End of London. It was a seasonable night and we were first offered a table outside overlooking the Thames river. A noisy birthday celebration next to us made us move...More

We went here for a work dinner. The weather was beautiful and we were able to spend some time reclining on deckchairs in the garden on the river. The pub is beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden, plus a terrace. The service was great and...More

I had lunch at The Gun today 09/06/17. Apart from one mistake giving us the wrong dessert wine with our pudding, the service couldn't be faulted. Despite being a busy lunch service, there was always someone when we needed them and at no point did...More

I haven't seen any dogs there but then I have been during the week when most people are at work and are there for their lunch break. I'd suggest giving them a call.
