This is a nice, reasonably small restaurant that doesn't really have any pretentions. I have been a couple of times and it is well known for its steak and endless fries main course. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews but I agree...More

I'd often passed by this restaurant but hadn't previously eaten there . It stays open quite late on Saturdays - which is how we came to visit . Booking a table was easy and the staff were pleasant , polite and helpful . They appeared...More

I had a business lunch here and enjoyed everything. Chicken liver pate followed by a Filet steak and unlimited fries. All was very good and the portions were large. They bring the steaks pre sliced in a frying pan which is left on a burner...More

This was my first visit to Rowleys. A lovely restaurant in a central London location with the feel of a French bistro. Steak and frites à volonté are their speciality and so that is what we had. Very pleasant it was too but when the...More

Good food, good location, good ambience. Cold staff. It would be perfect if the staff could look as if they enjoyed their work and really cared about their customers. 'The more you put in, the more you get out'

£213.00 for a 3 course meal with 2 x 500ml carafes of wine and average service. Stunned by their charges and lack of service as the unlimited chips were not available when I asked for a first and only top up. Wine prices were a...More

Dined here one lunchtime using a Travelzoo voucher which was for a chateaubriand to share along with fries and a side. The meat was cooked to our liking then served on a sizzling plate on the table. It was cooked to perfection and had no...More

If you haven't tried Rowleys in Jermyn Street then you should. I have been going there since it opened over 35 years ago. Then is was only steak with unlimited green salad, fries and French bread...with delicious puds from a trolley. Now there is a...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing

Chris you need to contact the restaurant to get answers to that question. It may be on their website in the menu section. You are unlikely to get answers to questions of this type from fellow reviewers.

Not many restaurants have a loyalty scheme, which just goes to show how very loyal Rowley's long-time regulars happen to be. The room is traditionally British, but also informal and relaxed. The menu changes monthly, and always features Rowley's tremendously good char-grilled entrecote steak or breast of Sussex chicken with herb and butter sauce and endless chips. The trad Caeser salad is also terrific. Short, intelligent wine list and the sun-dried tomato chutney served with the cheese is just right. Great for business lunches, or pre- or post-theatre.
