Definitely recommended, although probably easier to attempt on your own, or just a couple of people if you want to eat in. There's a small communal table in the back that had the most lovely people sitting there.

My companion is an internationally known chef herself and we both agreed Yotam Ottolenghi is a true master of his art. Not one single dish jars the palate, every one of his complex and imaginative blends of ingredients refreshes and stimulates your tongue, and sits very lightly in your tum! A delight. You can't book at Ottolenghi's Notting Hill venue,... More

On a recent trip to London, I finally made it here on a misty and cold morning in London right when they opened at 8 am. The display of cakes, salads, cookies, tarts, is truly beautiful. Just as I expected! Friendly service, the back table seats 8 and is small, but if you are lucky to grab a seat it's... More

Was so excited to eat here, and it did not disappoint. The presentation is beautiful and the food delicious. There is only 1 common table to eat at, and seats 10, so I'm guessing there is always a bit of a wait. We were told the wait was 30 min but ended up being 5, so people come and go... More

It is one of the best meals I have had in London, a bit expensive but worth every penny. I know 2 Ottolenghi places in London and I am used to go to the Liverpool Street one and today for the first time I order delivery from the one situated in Notting Hill. I was a bit skeptical but to... More

I guess this technically is a "Take Away" which in British parlance conjures up fish and chip shops, and Indian meals. This really is de creme de la creme. Wonderful food. I'm an avowed meat-eater, but so many of these dishes didn't have meat (you specifically pick the meat you want) and it didn't matter an iota. Totally delicious. Recommended.... More

I was very lucky to find a seat at the communal table and enjoyed the breakfast quinoa muesli - healthy and tasty. The food on display looked marvelous and a lot of Middle Eastern hard-to-come by food items are available here. Great please to enjoy all day food and worth a visit.

Can't get over how incredibly fresh and delicious this food was. Lots of veggie options but the fish and beef are also fantastic. Very unassuming and friendly service. Would go here every day if I could.

Lucked out to have room for three people at the only table at this small deli. Food is great. Best shashukah I have had. Lovely pastries and delicious home made jams.

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
