Absolute stunning food and surrounding definitely recommend. Do not miss this little gem of a place. Visited with my wife and two kids. A boy one of 18 and a girl one at 23. We ordered 4 different meals and each one was perfect. We did the family thing and all had a taste of each others lol. Can't not... More

I visited this restaurant couple of times during my stay in London. The food is just amazing with affordable prices. The staff are very friendly. Nice seating area with relaxing music. I will definitely come back again.

A friend of mine invited me here (had no idea about this before) as it is tucked away. Don't let the entrance put you off as soon as you walk in the door it is really charming. We went on a Saturday night and it was very quiet - which had me worried. However, the menu had some really nice... More

Cous Cous cafe looked like it should be a great little restaurant but with only one person managing the waiting and the cooking the service on a Wednesday night was terrible. We had only ordered mains, and were given free starters to allow for the delays, but unfortunately still not good enough. The food was average. It's cash only. I... More

A friend and I visited this place on a mid-week evening. The alarm bells should have rung when I phoned to make a reservation and wasn't even asked my name! When we arrived there were two other couples who were finishing their meals. It appeared that half of the menu was off. This news came in dribs and drabs after... More

My daughter and I dined there on a chilly evening. My couscous was very delicate, definitely not of the "quick cooked" variety, the broth was rich, fresh, bright and flavorful, and the vegetables retained their integrity. My daughter's vegetable tagine was richly flavored and achieved a complexity that suggested it had been cooked by someone who knows how to tease... More

We went to the restaurant because it looked so nice. The food was very delicious. We enjoyed it very much. There was only one more table booked. We enjoyed our evening there and we would come back again.

First visit having lived in the area for 31 years, decided to give it a try. Interesting interior, although showing signs of age with some lamps not lit. Small restaurant, with very few customers, who all seem to be tourists. No table cloths and paper serviettes. Moroccan table lights remained unlit throughout the restaurant. Long time to wait for food... More

4 of us visited the restaurant earlier this week. We were drawn in by the exterior and when we looked in it seemed cosy an and intimate. However the experience quickly went downhill. The waitress struggled with English and found it difficult to take our order. The menu itself was limited as there were only tagines available. We were told... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
