Another sad loss is South East London. Has been closed for more than half a year now. Doesn't look like anything is happening there. Used to be a local gem.

One of the sadest things about London is that so many cafes have closed down to be replaced by mediocre sandwich bars & American cafe chains. Therefore whenever I discover a new caff I'm thrilled to pieces. Gambardella's is wonderful, it opened many years ago...More

I live just down the road from this cafe. Great staff. Interesting locals. All very friendly and excellent value.

Gambardella is local to us and where we go for takeaway coffee, coffee and biscotti (awesome and homemade), milkshakes and banana sandwiches (the kids never leave a crumb or a drop behind), full breakfasts, (huge and tasty) omlette lunches (fresh and tasty) and bolognese dinners...More
