This crowded restaurant was great for a quick dinner. The food was fresh and tasty. The many Asians eating here are testament to its authenticity.

Don't be put off by the hotel dining room setting. This place has authentic Asian comfort food, from dim sum to Singapore street food to Szechuan specialties ona vast menu. Service is cheerful and efficient.

Anyone interested in South East Asian food will find Bugis Street a quiet haven from the bustle of High Street Kensington. Laksa, Hot and Sour soup, soft shell crabs, Char Kwey Teow, dim sum and Nasi lemak all appear on the menu. All very tasty...More

Other than the laksa, the rest of the nostalgic Singaporean dishes like char kwey teow, nasi lemak, hainan chicken rice fall far short of authentic "Bugis Street" flavour. Worst was the Hainanese Chicken, it came so over cooked, dry and blend... a sad disappointment.

This Asian restaurant is always full and deservedly so. It seems to attract Asian people as the food is authentic and god value or money.

Had dinner here on a week day. The food appears to be very Malaysian/ Singaporean food that you would get at a "Kopitiam". The food is decent and comparable with what you get in Malaysia. I had the Penang Fried Kwan Teow and it tasted...More

If you are looking for good Malaysian or Singapore food then this is the place in South Kensington and Gloucester Road. We know many of the airline people come here and in this trip visited 3 times. All the flavours are authentic from the Satay,...More

Yet again a chance encounter...we were at the adjoining hotel lobby and a poster showing " Singapore street food" caught our attention. So off we went on our food scouting adventure to taste its authenticity and value for money buffet. This Sunday only buffet lunch...More

This is our second time here. Once again, the food truly reminded us of home. Enjoyed the Prawn Noodle Soup and the Penang Char Kway Teow.

I am visiting from the US and ate here because it was close to my hotel. The value was great and I had the best steamed dumplings of my life. If you like steamed dumplings, they are worth the 15 minute wait. Even if you...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Description
Hugely popular both with locals and visitors, the Bugis Street Brasserie is situated in the luxurious Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Londons upmarket Kensington. This comfortable and chilled out bistro styled dining room is probably the most relaxed dining choice the glamorous four star Millennium Gloucester has to offer and, as such, it appears to have the most diverse crowd, ranging from businessmen with loosened ties to hungry tourists fresh from the sights and, of course, Kensingtons notorious ladies who lunch, putting their Louboutins up over dinner. The Bugis Street Brasserie is decorated in a neutral colour scheme, with tiled flooring, wood panelled bar and ceiling fans evoking an almost American feel, while service is (it perhaps goes without saying) of the very highest standard, both friendly and professional. Known for its Cantonese and Singaporean food, the Bugis Street Brasserie provides a sophisticated but authentic Eastern cuisine, served in a setting very different from the usual Asian restaurant.
