Ideally located for a trip to the neighbouring Curzon cinema, Hare and Tortoise seemed a perfect place for pre movie noodles. Clearly a very popular place that was busy on a Wednesday evening. Sadly it took me longer to get a menu from a waiter...More

I ususally go for dinner in this mixed oriental restaurant. I have two or three dishes, good quality and good value. Try sapporo big bier, very good . Soup are fantastic and not expensive as noodles. To the next!

I really like the food here and often visit their other branches. Efficient service and very good value, the sushi is particularly good. However, the smell in this branch every time I visit is disgusting and getting worse. After 2 minutes here your hair and...More

I have eaten here too often to the extent that some of the staff already know my order ;) Its always clean, service is fast and the food comes piping hot and in huge portions. The turnover is high so I always know that the...More

I am going there quite often for lunch or early dinner. Place is always busy, but it's worth to wait for the table. Food is good and prices are affordable.

I often have weekday working lunches here. The salmon teriyaki and rice and delicious. I used to have the chicken curry but it kept repeating on me throughout the day. Colleagues have tried a variety of dishes and love them but I stick to the...More

Family with 3 teens arrived here for a late dinner and we had a very good meal at a fair price. We had been to Wagamama decades ago and we were told that this place is like Wagamama used to be (we did not try...More

The dragon roll (maki) is satisfying. So is the plate of bok choi sauteed in oyster sauce. The vegetable tempura is good too; the ebi tempura could be better. 25.10gbp for two persons, including genmaicha. Service was warm and efficient.

Nothing sexy, nothing special. Japanese food was just about OK but not really authentic. Sushi lacked punch and the quality of fish was ordinary. Fried noodle was very ordinary. This place is good if you are very very hungry or for the western people who...More

As someone said.. the place is small and the tables are very close, there is a little more space in the inner room. I would suggest calling first and asking them to hold a table where wheelchair can be placed
