This was booked as a surprise for my 50th Birthday ...but they rang to cancel the booking at the last minute saying they could only cater for 2 or 4 people.....Total let down......Thankfully found a far superior and beautiful restaurant nearby....Do not recommend The Ivy!!!!!!

Our first visit, so decided to try the set menu. 2 courses for £23.50. The starter was a meze and was excellent, followed by trout. Again very well presented and portion sizes were good. From the moment we entered the restaurant the staff were extremity...More

We've been to the Ivy on West street several times, but I felt like writing a review just to commend this place on enduring the changing times in the food scene and staying away from the constantly changing (and annoying) food trends. You are received...More

We recently treated ourselves to dinner at The Ivy on our final night of a UK holiday. Despite booking many weeks in advance we could only secure a 9.15pm table. The experience was wonderful, however, the food not as much of a standout as I...More

Hi, Having looked on their website, I could not see one I am sure if you ask, they would provide smaller portions of their menu or have one that is not published on their website.

The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since its foundation in 1917. The Covent Garden restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of glamour – now more than ever after a triumphant redesign in 2015 by the acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. With its shimmering central dining bar, signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection, the longevity of this most British restaurant is ensured. Renowned for its food, Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal lunch and dinner menus that place the Ivy classics alongside a contemporary global palette, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and a “sea and shells” section. Meanwhile, Director Fernando Peire and his experienced team deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become celebrated for worldwide, over the years. The Ivy welcomes customers without reservations at the central dining bar, where the A La Carte and Table d'hôte menus are both served. In this, its centenary year, there will be a host of special events lined up to celebrate both the past and future of this unique restaurant.
