Monday evening; four of us for business dinner; 4 entrees and four mains; couple of beers and one £60 bottle of wine that should have been £30. Price £386 inc a 15% service charge. Food was ok but not worth the money. Same dinner at another restaurant would have been half the price. Won't be going back to Cipriani's in... More

A Sunday evening visit was disappointing. The restaurant was quite busy but had little atmosphere. The menu was poorly explained and seriously overpriced for what it was. £9 for a plate of spinach? The similarly priced "chicory" looked and tasted like seaweed! My wife's gnocchi were a poor equivalent of your Monaco restaurant version. I asked specifically for my grilled... More

On visiting for the second time with another couple who were visiting us for a few days , I found the service and presentation to be very poor . The waiters were unclear explaining the menu available and on ordering a dry Martini it was presented to me in a Schnapps glass ,in addition to this I ordered the soup... More

The name is legendary and location is second to no one. Vintage atmosphere and great service with Italian flavour. The restaurant is not cheap , but worth it. What I don't really understand is the over extended menu, defenetely too long for an Italian restaurant. Place where people go to see and to be seen, high presence of Middle eastern... More

Requested nice table, Given Table at rear of room with partitions blocking view of restaurant. Staff very unprofessional, One found it difficult to take our order which could not have been more simple. Very expensive for second rate food, The Sea bass was swimming in oil and made my wife very sick. This restaurant does not deliver what you expect... More

Went with friends for valentines night having not been there for a couple of years. What used to buzz, is now sadly living off a name. Empty bar, empty tables on valentines night!! Lighting too bright, food too fast and certainly no negotiation. There was a set menu offer with carpaccio or lobster ravioli to start- could not possibly be... More

We ate here for dinner on a table for 6 on a Saturday night, it wasn't full although they tried to give us a dud table next to the serving place. We found the food overpriced and very average. It cost £180 per couple, total bill £540 with only four glasses of wine between six of us, two people had... More

This place is trying to be Italian, with the menu and the staff but in the middle of the menu you can find curry, which is probably the least Italian dish ever and wine (cheapest bottle at 40+ GBP) is served in cheap glasses. The food is OK though but if you look at the their website they want to... More

In the middle of Mayfair, it is part of London. Staff and the clients make the place. Cuisine is Cipriani as you can find it in New York Dubai and of course Venice.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
