Plenty of choice on the menu, food nicely cooked and well presented. No pretensions. Staff are friendly and happy to help. This was my second visit and already looking forward to my third!

What a great place to go with good friends. Have celebrated many special occasions here and it is consistently good; lively yet intimate, selection of good wines and delicious food. Always look forward to going there. A traditional wine bar . Best to book

I went here tonight with my wife for an after work drink and bite to eat. She had passed a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked like our kind of place to eat. Restaurant at the front and bar at the back which had a nice atmosphere with a small seated area out the front. As the squid... More

We stopped here for some wine with our tailor after picking up our new jackets. The wine selection was outstanding and the staff was friendly. The location is great, we will defiantly stop again.

This place is an all time favourite. Staff are fantastic and food never disappoints. Always feel very at home and they sell some lovely wines at an affordable price for the west end. You have to choose squid to start - legendary!!

Nice enough, staff not the most knowledgable on wine - not the cheapest but a good wine list. Bit of a formal restaurant.

Had an evening meal whilst in London, chilli and ginger prawn for starter was superb, very tasty and just right amount, had venison mash and spinach for main, which was very nice. Friendly host and a nice atmosphere, very reasonably priced too, highly recommended

Went in for a dinner with a friend, encouraged by good reviews here. I had their sirloin steak, which was tasteless, very chewy, and served hardly warm - the herb butter on top didn't even begin to melt! My friend had fishcakes - didn't complain, but wasn't impressed either. The chips were the best part of the meal I'm afraid...

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
