Had lunch here on a chilly day but due to the constant outside service the front doors are left open and it was cold inside. Almost all customers sat inside with a coat on and it was not welcoming. I hadn't said that I was on a diet but the quantity of food served reflected that I had. If I... More

I've been here three times now. The first time was with a friend who recommended it. The service was prompt, but we asked to be moved as it was cold (this was inside the bar). Being underground the whole bar is slightly chilly anyway which you may want to consider if you feel the cold easily. The following visit I... More

Nice little place to call in for a drink and rest your legs on a day trip to London. Made to feel very welcome, £11 for 3 drinks, not too bad for the location. We didn't eat so can't comment on that. Would def recommend a visit if you are nearby.

Went for tea here, the waiter was very attentive and happily let us sit at our table and browse the menus while waiting for another member of our party to join. The food was good, we had the 2 course theater menu meal. However, 3 of us had the fish on potato, the potato was not the type specified in... More

Post theatre late night cheese and port at our favourite haunt in London. We have been visiting this restaurant since the last 25 years and have always been impressed by the range of port and fortified wines. The food has improved over the years.

After a day of sight seeing it was lovely to sit a graze with a Davy sharing platter and a glass or two of wine. We have fond memories of this place and we go every time we visit London. It never disappoints. We love the opera singers and the relaxed atmosphere. The food is fantastic. We love the cheese... More

We come here often when we are in London. The wine selection is excellent and the food lovely. I nearly always opt for a cheese board as the choice of cheese is super. The location of the Crusting Pipe is just fabulous, right in the lower hall of Covent Garden, inside it is cosy and romantic and outside you get... More

Customers seated in the outdoor terrace can often enjoy impromptu performances from local musicians and actors, while the indoor spaces with vaulted ceilings and lots of nooks and crannies, provide an atmospheric setting in which to enjoy the seasonal British classics on offer. Look out for the popular afternoon tea options, pre/post theatre menus and interesting range of wines.
