My son and I stopped in for a milkshake and ended up ordering waffles with bacon and honey as well. All was delicious! The waffles were huge and fluffy, the bacon crispy and the honey just sweet enough. All washed down with delicious milkshakes. Situtated very close to the tube station - an ideal stop.

Chose the Mediterranean and it was disappointing. It had been overlooked was the wrong side of golden and crispy. My companion however was happy with her hazelbania. It wasn't very busy at the time. I personally wouldn't go back and can't in honesty recommend it.

Had a sort of brunch here, on the morning of Easter; the orders took a while to arrive (even just the beverages would have been fine, to start), and the gallettes we ordered were.. incomplete - or at least, that's the feeling I got from mine, with smoked salmon smashed up with some cream, capers and raw red onion (that... Set in a great location but not cheap and we were left waiting for food and then drinks arrived after we finished, staff very apologetic but disappointed, Crepes and waffles were good but pricy, they need to up their game if they want to charge those prices

We often choose to go there before a flight as it is good to have something light that will not sit in your stomach and make you bloated when you are on board esp a long haul. The place is not really spacious and at times you need to queue a bit. The people / staff are basically ok but... More

I have been going to this creperie since 2001 but the owners and cooks must have changed as my crepe was bland, tasteless and even found a hair strand on my plate (see picture). I felt sick to my stomach after discovering it half way through my meal. When I kindly brought it to the waitress's attention, she shrugged her... More

Went to have lunch at Kensington Creperie again on the back of having been going here since the Kensington branch opened and always having had a good experience in the past. However, today's experience was totally disappointing and it is the very first time I have actually not finished their crepes. The menu changed, the pancake was soggy (not crispy)... More

Went with my brother and sister. We know the place from the late 1990s when the Crêpes Menue was long and excellent. We haven't been a while - and decided to take family and friend today. What a disappointment. The galette complet used to be a crispy classic crepe. It has turned into a soggy mass market product made with... More

Dropped in here before a concert and told Silvia we were in a hurry so ordered drinks and crepes straight away. Silvia stopped to chat with another member of staff before taking someone else's order who came in after us and then placing their order and then ours. No drinks arrived after 20 minutes so we got the attention of... More

This was a pleasant experience. Looks wise, it doesn’t really stand out, even though it is neatly finished and looks inviting. In place like this, the emphasis is placed solely on the food. I had a Chicken Pesto that was decent, but nothing to blow me away, and felt really filling. I also shared a Hazel-bania, since we all felt... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
