My second time visiting Yauatcha and I have to say, I forgot how good the Cheung fun was!! I visited with a group of friends and we all loved the food and cocktails. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was even better! Not too...badly priced for a high end Asian restaurant in London too! The only negative for me would be that it did not seem well ventilated as it was very stuffy and hot in there. The staff were also quite slow and I felt as if they could have been more attentive and nicer.More

Booked for my daughter´s 22nd birthday a month in advance with a preferred special table, which was confirmed by the restaurant. When we arrived they told us that table was not possible despite my early booking and confirmation. We left immediately and went to CITY...SOCIAL - amazing experience. We can´t recommend anyone to dine at Yauatcha City!More

As recent reviewers say, prices have increased compared to pre-pandemic (2019). Examples: Scallop Shuimai £10 before, now £13 Seafood Black Truffle £12 before, now £15 Wild Mushroom £6 before, now £9 Edemame £8 before, now £10. On the prices, I'm not complaining as the food...was cheap in the past for the quality and is worth it. Even though we live in post-pandemic times, the quality was the same if not better than pre-pandemic times. The Prawn Cheung Fun has changed but is still amazing. The desserts are smaller than before, this was ok with me and my friends and next time we'll perhaps order a selection of desserts. They no longer have paper menus, and navigating menus can be tricky on a phone screen, so be warned! Overall, despite all the difficulties with the pandemic, the food and service was good. The service can be hit and miss, but when we went it was very good.More

Back after long delay due to COVID and first time here not during the working week. Atmosphere not as "buzzy" as a result and views of nearby offices not that inspiring. Food remains as good as ever though prices I estimate have increased by around...20% from my last visit and are getting a little over the top. Service charge also increased to 14% (I think it was 13% before so no big deal there). Yauatcha has never been cheap - and shouldn't be - but I'd think twice about returning unless it was a special occasion. Service efficient but not overly friendly.More

We had been to the one in Soho a few times before but this was our first time here. It is in a pedestrianised area which was buzzing with people eating and drinking. Yauachta was no exception. It takes up around half of a floor...of the circular ‘doughnut’ with seating both indoors and outdoor. There is a lot of choice and it is difficult to know what to go for. The prawn toasts are amazing and nothing like you will have had before, the venison puffs really good, the lobster dumplings so good and the char sis buns also really good. Aromatic crispy duck only comes as half and not a quarter, a bit much for two unless you have it as a main, and whilst it is good we have had better in another top Chinese. The jasmine smoked ribs were also really good as was the baby park chow. The desserts are certainly not Chinese and despite us having been to the Soho venue a few times we had never ventured to order them despite them looking amazing in the display window. This time we decided to and my word they are as good as they look and they look amazing. We won’t not be having them again when we re-visit. This place is certainly not cheap but it is worth it.More

Wonderful to enjoy a working lunch back in the City - and Yauatcha food never ever disappoints! Really enjoyed the meal, the setting - and the sunny London weather helped. The Kao Pao Chicken main was the highlight for me, along with the vegetable fried...rice. Fantastic!More

A long-term fan of this place and special family lunch had been postponed twice due to the pandemic. We were really, therefore looking forward to our first trip to London for 15 months. Whilst the food was excellent, the service was not up to standard...for a restaurant at this price point. We had the most expensive menu and the food came out in dribs and drabs, one dish was forgotten about until we reminded the waitress about it, a dish of steamed rice was stone cold and clearly hadn’t seen the steamer. To cap it all, the waitress looked at the bill studiously and then handed it over, with an extra charge that our set meal option did not incur. With a cost of over £100 per head (only two alcoholic drinks) and a 14% automatic service charge, the whole thing was rather a let-down. I would love to eat here again as the food is first-class but feel disinclined to do so as the shoddy service just doesn’t justify the price. Come on Yuatcha - get your act together!More

I really luke Yauatcha. As a fan of the Hakkasan chain I was glad to see Yauatcha in Liverpool Street as it is so close to my office. We always get the set menu which you can get a whole host of things and try...a lot. I would recommend doing this. The food is great and I adore the duck roll which they have taken off of the Hakkasan menu but its here at Yauatcha so I can't complain. I love this place.More
