We made a reservation for 7:15pm. At 8:45pm, the restaurant told us we had to finish up and leave as the next reservation was arriving. Really? kicking people out of a table. The food was also sub-par. The razor clams were full of sand. The...More

After always seemingly choosing a steak/rib place when visiting London we decided it was time for a change, and started looking for other places close to the concert venue for the night. One of the best reviewed places was here and it is easy to...More

The place is very atmospheric. Service was great and super attentive. The food was bombastic. Particularly jumbo prawns on toast! Will definitely come back!

Ordered the wild sea bass fillet, which was truly spectacular. The chocolate & salted caramel mousse was delicious as well. The place was small & cramped and service was just okay (seemed a bit flustered or bothered at times).

Wow. Borough Market on a Saturday afternoon late is a mob of people. I found Wright Brothers one night several years ago and have always wanted to find it again and made it a point to get there this trip. It was full and lively,...More

The service is typically attentive and polite. Fish is the main theme, especially oysters. Good quality, well presented. Perhaps a bit overpriced, especially if your are used to certain dishes.

We walked in here without a reservation because the place next door was fully booked - I'm so pleased we did! All fresh fish, a huge selection of specials in addition to the already adequate menu. We want for starters of sardines and squid and...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond

browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks

Situated at the edge of the famous food market, Wright Brothers Borough Market is where this group of renowned seafood restaurants first began. The restaurant is relaxed, informal and full of life with an open kitchen and counter style seating. The menu mostly centres around daily specials, displayed on blackboards within the restaurant, but there is also a selection of signature dishes. Head chef Rob Malyon’s speciality is great ingredients cooked simply and includes classics such as the beef, Guinness & oyster pie and mussels cooked in white wine, shallots and parsley. The drinks list boasts an excellent selection of craft beers and ales, as well as seafood friendly wines and crowd pleasing cocktails.
