Booked a table last minute and took our two teenagers. Pre dinner drinks were spot on, and the steaks/food was awesome. Friendly service, and the kids were welcome even though it was Friday night. Definitely do it again the next time we are in London!

Order the Ribeye and a decent bottle of Malbec, sit back enjoy! You will not be dissapointed, the steaks are always excellent as is the choice of Argentinian. I always go for one of the many Malbec's which vary greatly in price. It's an excellent location tastefully fitted out. The staff are always spot on and knowledgeable!

Booked a table for two earlier this week based on previous reviews we had read. Have been to some really amazing steak restaurants before including one of the top rated ones in New York and I have to say that this was on par or maybe even might have pipped it to numero uno position. Stunning food, quick and friendly... More

My partner and I enjoyed two beautiful steaks here during our last visit to London, the food was absolutely lovely and filled us up far more than we'd normally expect from a high-end London restaurant. Would definitely go back but would order sides between us next time.

VIP service from start to finish. On arriving you are greeted at the door and escorted to the bar. The service is quick but not fast. Extremely professional. The staff are very knowledgable and the food is incredible. It was my birthday. 2 different floor managers came to wish me a happy birthday and they put a candle in the... More

A few friends and I came here just before Christmas - group of about 8. We managed to get a reservation at fairly short notice. The staff were great, very attentive and very understanding as we were waiting a while for a latecomer. The food was divine, one of the tastiest steaks I've ever had. We were all very happy... More

I was taking my boyfriend to dinner here for an anniversary meal on me, and we had the most amazing food and service, the staff were very personable and attentive to our needs. Went I went to pay, I realised my purse had been stolen on the tube journey just before we had arrived. The manager who had previously personally... More

Description
In a prime location off Regent Street, Gaucho Piccadilly is an upmarket Argentinean steakhouse housed in the old wine cellars of the Mexican ambassador. The vaulted restaurant is decked out in cowhide, a knowing nod to the chunky menu full of cuts of luxury steak, including the tender Bife de Lomo, aged for six to eight weeks and then flown in from Buenos Aires. Large selection of Argentine wines, bar and late-night supper lounge.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
