I am regular of this wine bar and I really like this wine bar, nice wine but sometimes too crowded. Sunday's roast was nice but a little bit cold. anyway, I like to go there with friends.

Visited Gordon's on a very busy Saturday night in early December, absolutely fantastic experience. Loved the laid back and busy atmosphere... Cheese superb, wine selection is perfection... look forward to our next visit.

What a fantastic place but get there early or you won't get a table. Buzzy, busy and brilliant. Excellent selection of wines and great selection of hot or cold food at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and happy to advise. Dark corners for the romantic....More

The key when going to Gordon's wine bar is to go earlier in the day and not in the evening. It's an unusual venue as it's based in a cave-like environment where you can drink wine and eat cheese by candle light. The atmosphere is...More

Hidden London gem. Great selection of wines and a make your own cheeseboard. The bar has a lot of history with lots of memorabilia on the wall, and previous residents give it a claim to fame. Inside it completely candlelit and almost cave like with...More

Every time I go to London I make sure that I visit Gordon's wine bar for a glass (or two) of wine and to check out the atmosphere of London's oldest wine bar. Quite an experience when you walk down the stairs into a very...More

Gordon's is a renowned wine bar in London. Any Londoner who hasn't heard of it, either does not go out or has just arrived to live here. It's a classic "I've just arrived in London and I've found this wonderful bar!" kind of place, that,...More

Great meeting place. We were eating elsewhere but the cold meats and cheeses looked enticing, and there was hot food too. Some interesting wine choices - the Lebanese white was tasty and not overpriced for central London

It's so easy to walk past Gordon's but don't! On a summer's day enjoy outside, or in winter sit in the "cave" downstairs. Port by the glass and a big cheese platter - great way to while away the hours with friends

Gordon's Wine Bar was a wonderful experience! I was initially attracted to it because I heard it was the oldest wine bar in London. It was so charming & unique, and then the wine and cheeses were outstanding. I asked the "cheese guy" to help...More

Hi, no need to book. Just turn up. It's best to come early on a Friday or Saturday if you want a table. Thanks for your enquiry!
Hi. I know youre a wine bar and a very good one at that having tasted your fare on a few occasions some 4 years ago before relocating to Devon. I'm now back and wish to bring a friend who sadly only enjoys a tipple of gin. Can you cater for this obscure request?

Pretty sure it's wine or port only
I know this sounds strange but - do you sell any other drinks. We have one in our party who, unfortunately, does NOT drink wine!! 😕
