BBar has excellent food and ambience. The staff are very accommodating and it has a good atmosphere. It seems reasonable as well. Get a table by the window. You ay see th horses and carriages entering the Mews at Buckingham Palace! An added bonus!!!

This restaurant is largely hidden from passing footfall with building works going on all around. however its worth a trip... It's South African - although you wouldn't know it from the exterior..... but as soon as you enter you are transported to the African plains - with animal prints and pictures adorning the place. The food was really tasty, and... More

We stayed next door at The Rubens and ended up eating dinner at BBar. Both experiences were fantastic with great service and staff. The salted beef sandwich, barbecued chicken salad, rib eye were all very, very good. If you want something non-alcoholic, try their classic lemon iced tea. It's wonderful. We will definitely eat here again the next time we... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
