It is some years ago since I have been to Pinocchio's in this part of Norwich. We walked in on Friday night and were seated at a table right next to the door which was exposed to a draft every time more customers arrived. When two people left on the table next door a very pleasant waiter allowed us to... More

Dear Sir/Madam. We are sorry to hear that you're latest visit to our establishment was not a good experience. The customer visited on a busy Friday night, without a reservation. As usual on a Friday night the restaurant was full, with only one table available near to the door. The customer was showed to the only available table. They sat... More

This good in so far as it is a private Italian restaurant. It is still work in progress hence the 3 star rating. The waiter was very welcoming and good at his job, the food is good on quantity perhaps a little low on taste, but I would definitely recommend trying here. I hope next time I go we can... More

Visited Pinocchio's this previous Saturday, with my wife and two children, would highly recommend! Waiting staff were welcoming and efficient. Loads of options for the children which was nice to see, would recommend the children's pizzas! Starters were lovely, we had the antipasti carne for two which was tasty & excellently presented. But the mains were the star of the... More

Second visit and not disappointed. Visited when last in Norwich in June and, as then, felt initially spoilt for choice with so many places to dine.SO glad we found Pinocchios. Most welcoming, very attentive service without intrusion. Extensive menu and as well as sounding lovely, the dishes passing by made the decision even harder.DEVINE. Dishes arrived promptly and beautifully presented.... More

Pleased with the food. A little noisy although it was Saturday evening. An itemised bill would have been better than the chit we were given to allow us to check the charged were correct

If only I had checked out the reviews before booking this place . We arrived earlier than the time of our booking and were put up a corner next to the service area and dumb waiter. My view was of dirty windows and a dusty shelf. We ordered bruchetta and garlic bread with cheese Which turned out be more like cheese... More

We often drink at lust and liquor across the road and eat out very regularly, but we had never eaten at Pinocchios, so we decided to try it. I have to say that we were very disappointed from the minute we stepped inside. We had booked on line and had the obligatory confirmation e-mail. But the manager looked aghast when... More

Lacked atmosphere, decor dated, only one of the members of staff that served us seemed to know what food she was serving us and the food was well below average. Would not visit again.

The liver was good but my wife"s gnocchi was of all of 10 small lumps swimming in sauce that was rich but tasty. I liked the somewhat over cooked sauce but it was too rich for my wife who prefers a subtle flavour rather than a sledge hammer one. The house wine was mediocre and expensive. Service OK and fast.

Pinocchio's is an traditional Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Norwich.Owned by brothers Gonario and Andrea, who have been the trade for over 20 years and are very passionate about the industry. Comfortable seating and immaculately laid tables, and stripped wooden floors give the room a rustic warmth. They serve a wide range of traditional Italian cuisine for every occasion, including stone-baked pizzas; authentic pastas; steaks on stone; classic meat and fish dishes; as well as tempting antipasti platters and entrees. As always, with an Italian meal, there is nothing finer (or more indulgent!) than finishing with a sumptuous dessert like Tiramisu or Zabaglione, or even a rich glass of dessert wine. Loyal customers rate the buzzing atmosphere, extensive menu and interesting pasta and pizza dishes; Pinocchio's restaurant is ideal for a family meal, catching up with friends or even a romantic dinner for two. Pinnochio's has an extensive range of red, white and sparkling wines, for any occasion.
