Good for lunch when in the city, after hard morning shopping. Food is great, atmosphere can be bubbly.

We were very impressed by The Last Bistro. Friendly staff, an interesting choice of good value food and a pleasant atmosphere. Quite close to the city centre, just over the river. Worth finding.

We were seated in a nice quiet room across from the main bar. It was great for a good discussion about the book. The food was very slow coming, so we were quite hungry by the time it arrived I ordered duck breast, salt baked...More

Not really much to say I am afraid. We do visit here at least once a quarter, should really go much more. Food, service, atmosphere as expected. Top class! One of the best places to eat in Norwich. You can see why it’s been here...More

We were warmly welcomed by our waitress and quickly shown to our table in the bar area of this busy, bustling restaurant. The choice of wine by the glass is very good, so we started with a glass each of Vermentino which was full of...More

Visited last week on a cold January evening and ate in the bar area which was very inviting- warm and cosy. We ate from the bar menu and basically chose comfort food, pork belly, venison pie, cheese and biscuits. Everything was delicious and served piping...More

We had a fabulous evening of delicious food, vibrant, friendly atmosphere and lively birthday celebration chatter between myself, husband and two adult sons. It has always been our favourite restaurant, and we are always reminded why each time we visit. We were looked after by...More

Not been there for some time, having had a rather odd experience when we felt very isolated being the only people in the restaurant section. This time both the base and restaurant were humming and had a great atmosphere. Waiting staff were delightful, attentive but...More

Good atmosphere friendly staff but food was quite ‘ordinary’. Nothing wrong with menu or food to note but more like a mediocre gastro pub than a restaurant. We did have a table in the bar area but that shouldn’t have meant the food was different...More

Ate here with business colleagues. The menu has european and traditional british fayre with a twist. Very good wine list to accompany the food.

Hi, there are a couple of car parks nearby, St Andrew's as suggested above & one a bit nearer on Colgate which you can access via Calvert St. Be careful when parking on the roads in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant... More

There is a lot of parking around there but use the public car parks. Be careful parking close to the river bank at night: my friends had their car broken into and their GPS stolen while parked on Friar Quay just a few weeks... More
