Had such a lovely lunch here! The food was excellent and the service even better - staff couldn't do enough to help.

We called in here on a cold day after a walk to the upper falls. Our boots were muddy so we felt guilty going in but here was a sign on the door "Muddy boots welcome " lol

Went to visit the Aysgarth falls and found this place - the lady who looked after us was very friendly. We only came for cake and coffee (which was lovely and reasonably priced) but we liked it so much that we came back for lunch two days later. Highly recommend the ploughmans. A good selection on the menu, reasonably priced,... More

Visited after a walk to Aysgarth falls. We are never too sure about cafes in the middle of touristy places which can be very overpriced and basic. Food was absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced. Very good choices on the menu. Our children loved the milkshakes with ice cream and we had the Wensleydale rarebit which was delicious!

Visited on Tuesday lunchtime to refuel the children (14, 9, 5, 3) and ourselves during our walk. Lovely welcoming little cafe, plenty of choice - soup, sandwiches, toasters, quiche, ploughman, jacket potatoes, afternoon teas, a large selection of homemade baking and biscuits, a large selection of speciality teas, coffee, hot chocolate and milkshakes. The portions were of a good size... More

Stopped here once on the way back from hiking in the Dales and always go out of my way to go back if I'm in the vicinity. We had arrivedjust before opening time but were let in anyway. The morning coffee selection is incredible, homemade scones, biscuits and cake - huge portions and really tasty. Then it's only a short... More

We have visited this lovely little cafe most weeks since we moved to The Dales in the spring. Every set of visitors has been at least once. We love the home made cakes and delicious light lunches. They are really good at allowing dogs (even smelly ones) in and have a water bowl outside for them if they don't get... More

Lovely little dog friendly Tea Rooms with hot & cold menu. Great value and beautifully presented. Home made cakes and sandwich selection was very impressive. We were traditionally a little early for afternoon tea, being lunchtime, but that wasn't an issue. My niece (over from Australia for our wedding) was promised a cream tea and it was the best !
