The food was so delicious and authentic (especially the calzones!!!). The staff were really friendly and lovely and we loved the atmosphere and feel of the restaurant. Will definitely be back :)

Visited here with some family and the atmosphere was amazing. Lovely friendly staff and a family vibe. The portions are HUGE! I personally wasn’t overly impressed with the food as I thought it was a little bland, but other members of the group really enjoyed...their meals, so potentially more a reflection on my choice!More

Booked for my nieces 30th birthday. Had a lovely night, excellent food and great service. Was busy but never had to wait long for the food.

Service was great. Seated in the courtyard which overlooks the beautiful Tudor building. Food was delicious and vegetarian views catered for very well. Highly recommend for a genuine Italian experience.

Lived in york and walked past so many times and never been in. Walked in on off chance and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in this restaurant! Waiting staff were very helpful and friendly, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the food was...absolutely to die for! Would absolutely recommend to anybody looking for local Italian food in york!More

I visited this family run restaurant with my family, we stumbled upon it for lunch and we were very impressed with our pizzas (I am very particular about pizza). We then re booked for dinner. The food both visits (and drinks) was exceptional, PROPER authentic...Italian food, cooked by the family. A huge menu choice of pizza, pastas, meat etc etc. Could not fault the service either- all members of staff were just delightful, super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Great atmosphere too. The only downfall is that I don’t live closer to York so that I can eat there more often!! 10/10. Perfect food and service!More

Amazing service , good quality food , the staff are so friendly and really like a family. Really recommend to families or maybe even a couple who just want a drink , amazing just everywhere I couldn’t rave about it more.

Food was ok, they were very busy with the government scheme running. Staff were obviously tired out as they couldn't really be bothered when for example you ask for the table to be cleaned before you sat down, or parmesan for your pasta, or no...drinks arrived, or the food was cold. I am not sure that the distance between tables was correct.More

Waited 20 minutes because man at the reception was too busy to seat us as he said. Restaurant was not that busy but tables were as close as ever, felt like we were sat on other people’s tables. No Covid precautions. Watched waiter wipe the...same three tables down with the same cloth- not following gov guidelines. Food was okay. Served by a lady with black short hair, she was so rude and it was clear she didn’t want to be at work. Whole experience was horrible, felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. Would not recommend to anyoneMore
