We came to York on a shopping trip and stopped off at Bettys for some lunch. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely beautiful - we particularly enjoyed the Bacon & Raclette Rösti and the chips were just gorgeous!...More

We went to Betty's tea room today, we were waiting in the queue for maybe 10 minutes which isn't a great deal of time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We both ordered the haddock and chips with mushy peas along with a coke and...More

No trip to York would be complete, for me, without a stop at Betty's. We had dinner here and it is did not disappoint. Friendly fast service and excellent food. I had the afternoon tea complete with sandwiches, scone and cakes and felt really spoiled!

Couldn't get in for afternoon tea yesterday as the queue was down the street so be warned! However went for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Crushed avocado on sourdough toast with 2 poached eggs - delicious. Place is quaint and reminiscent of a Victorian era....More

You can book Lady Betty's afternoon tea, can be done on line. There have always been queues when we have been until last time when we arrive at around 11.15am on a Sunday morning and went straight in for brunch. If you are... More
