Poor I would say! Very slow service. Average Sunday lunch food. 2 adults and 1 child with 1 Pimms @£8.00 with a total of £100.00 not cheap. Wouldn't visit again. Seated in conservatory with many cobwebs needs a deep clean.

Very nice establishment which we came upon whilst looking for lunch. Had a lovely roast pork sandwich which went down a treat. Very nice service and very helpful. The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the side portions being very small which was...More

Went here for Sunday lunch. Wasn't impressed with the roast, two slices of beef & poor quality gritty slices. Lack of veg & was more about presentation than substance. :(

We visited for a mid week meal. We shared the seafood platter for a starter, I had the eggs benedict for a main and my wife had the lamb special. The location is great (just by the river). The service was good, attentive without being...More

Bank holiday Monday meal for a family of 8, three generations. Fabulous table - and we could all actually hear each other (which can often be a problem in a busy restaurant, especially with parents who are in their seventies). The food was exceptional and...More

In Henley for a few days and booked because of great reviews. Food was lovely and the place was excellently quirky. The lady and gent that were front of house were extremely friendly but it appeared to be just them in a massive pub/restaurant and...More

My mum and I decided to have a drink and bar snack here one evening when we were in the area and didn't much fancy the bustling crowds at the Angel over the river. The Little Angel served our needs perfectly! We had a great...More

This used to be a little favourite of ours for drinks. Food has always been average but they used to do a great burger. But we recently stopped by on a Friday night and it wasn't as good. Something has changed atmosphere wise. Not sure...More

The Little Angel is a little gem. We had a family get together here, and have done a few times now with all the family enthusing over it. A little pricey for some dishes but generally good value and excellent quality with a good selection...More

The Little Angel is all things to all people. It is a historic, perfectly placed pub and eating house at the foot of Remenham Lane, just before you go over Henley bridge into Henley on Thames. With a large car park, a reputation for great service, food and ambience, this pub is the busiest in the area and deservedly is on most itineraries of anyone visiting Henley on Thames. From the outside, it looks a quaint little pub but enter its hallowed doorway and you will find the most unique, beautifully designed space, with space being a key word. They can seat over 100 without a problem and can hold private functions for over 350 standing. Weddings, corporate functions, you name it, they can do it. They have a superb, professional and friendly team that can assist with most requests. Food is seasonal, fresh, cooked to order and with quarterly changing A la Carte and daily delicious specials, this pub is patronised all year round for lunch, dinner, drinks at their large and buzzy bar or when weather shows some joy, in their large, patioed garden that looks onto the quintessential Henley Cricket Club playing grounds. Jugs of Pimms, Pitchers of beer sit comfortably alongside ice buckets full of champagne and provence rose. If you haven't been to Henley or to The Little Angel, it is well worth a visit. The historic River Thames is just 100 yards away. Walk to it, from it or drive, as you wish but do GO!
