Went on a sunday afternoon, had the game pie. All in all very good, service was friendly and the pub is quirky, although the low ceiling was a bit of a pain for a tall lad! would recommend

Just called in for a drink. Small bar. Good fire to warm up. Dining room looked small but we were too late for lunch. Friendly bearded chap behind the bar who seemed to know the locals well. I had a soft drink and husband said...More

Absolutely fantastic food & service! Everyone loved their meal. Specialise in lies - with loads of choice! Can’t wait to visit again & get another stamp on the loyalty card towards our free pie! Booking essential as small pub.

There's a lovely little hearth here and the fire is always lit when it's cold outside. Good ale but a tiny bar. Food eating sometimes dominates the real reason for pubs - beer

We have been regulars here for a while now. This year the pub has changed its menu and offers mainly pies for a main course. There is a selection of starters of course and, if you don’t like pie, then there is a small selection...More

The menu has recently been changed and 'specialises' in pies. You can choose from a full top and bottom crust, just a pastry lid or a mash lid. There is a good choice of fillings and they are truly delicious. Pies come served with mashed...More

Opened by Mark and Sandra Duggan in May 2011 what once was a run down and unloved pub has now become a charming and popular drinking and dining spot for locals and visitors alike. The front bar is charming with wood panelled walls and old brewery photos of a bygone era and has a roaring open fire during the winter months. The intimate dining room is classic and cosy and the newly refurbished terrace offers the perfect spot for outdoor dining with rattan furniture and large parasols in a tranquil setting. There is also the Stable Bar at the rear of the property which offers a private dining space for up to 32 people. The food itself is all freshly prepared by chef Mark and his team and offers the best of pub classics along with more modern dishes using seasonal and where possible local produce. That teamed with friendly, informative and efficient service has got The Three Tuns recommended in the 2013 Michelin Guide. The Tuns certainly has something to offer everyone...
