Best beer battered cod and chips we have had for a long time. Just perfect batter and nicely cooked flaking cod and alongside a nice portion of mushy peas. The only thing missing was some malt vinegar to add to the mushy peas - I...More

Came for lunch with friends. Three had the two course £12 menu, small range but enjoyed by all. I had a delicious spinach and chick pea based vegetarian cassoulet which was well seasoned and delicately piquant.

Henley is a lovely little town but I always think it's a bit limited for good places to eat - this place is one of the good ones. Having not been here before we decided to try the pub out as the reviews were good...More

Nick the man is the obi manager. Nice place not as it was but polite staff and smiles, iron man 2:). Nick should be proud of the smart friendly atmosphere he has created as well as the good real ales he tends.

We took the whole family here for a Mother Day lunch and the overall experience was enjoyable as the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, but the three people that ordered the roast beef were disappointed with their meals as they found the beef...More

We were in the mood for fish and chips, looked up reviews on Tripadvisor, and the Three Tuns lived up to the excellent reviews you'll have read. Very friendly, lovely beer, great food but you will probably need to book. They don't serve food all...More

Description
Opened by Mark and Sandra Duggan in May 2011 what once was a run down and unloved pub has now become a charming and popular drinking and dining spot for locals and visitors alike. The front bar is charming with wood panelled walls and old brewery photos of a bygone era and has a roaring open fire during the winter months. The intimate dining room is classic and cosy and the newly refurbished terrace offers the perfect spot for outdoor dining with rattan furniture and large parasols in a tranquil setting. There is also the Stable Bar at the rear of the property which offers a private dining space for up to 32 people. The food itself is all freshly prepared by chef Mark and his team and offers the best of pub classics along with more modern dishes using seasonal and where possible local produce. That teamed with friendly, informative and efficient service has got The Three Tuns recommended in the 2013 Michelin Guide. The Tuns certainly has something to offer everyone...
