There was nothing wrong, but nothing stood out. Staff friendly enough, food ok, but that was it really. Don't understand the hype around Jamie.

Decided to try Jamie's in Oxford. Good experience, nice food, nice staff, good atmosphere. Will recommend to friends to try out.
Thanks for the lovely review
We read all of the reviews and went anyway because my dinner partner is a huge Jamie Oliver fan. Let me tell you, as someone who has eaten in some of the best restaurants around the world, the complete experience ranked as one of the...More

I dined here with a friend. There were good offers available and the food we had was nice, we both had the meat platter and the super food salad. It was busy with large tour groups so understandable the staff were busy. The feedback i...More

Summer time in Oxford is crammed full of tourists. I was just adding to the crowds. We had lunch at Jamie's. Good well executed pasta, expensive but if we adjust for the tourists and location, it's ok. Service was ok, until I needed to settle....More

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, I will discuss the points you raised with my team. Sorry you were disappointed in our ice cream we only stock ice cream from Snow Flake Gelato, a beautiful little company that pasteurise the milk themselves...More
I'm a tricky one to please admittedly : a gluten free pescetarian with an intolerance of tomatoes. However, when ordering Jamie's famous prawn linguine (minus the tomatoes and with gluten free pasta ) I expected more than a beige bowl of flavourless slop. The menu...More
Thanks for leaving your review, I am sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your dish but it is good to hear that both the waitress and manager dealt with the issue for you. and its always good to hear we beat mum's pasta!...More
Watery, tasteless and overcooked carbonara served with flare (but no substance, as in no one asked how our food was) in a trendy, buzzy setting. Clearly the chef was not following Jamie's recipe! Oops!
