I went to Columbia coffee and firstly we were waiting for 15mins outside for two drinks, and secondly when I got my drink (the mojito pressed juice) it tasted like cucumber mush. Really expensive for the amount I got too.

Popped in here for coffee and croissant just after they opened. My Americano was just about the strongest and certainly the best tasting coffee I have had. This is definitely not a run of the mill coffee shop. The people that work there are coffee...geeks, and that's the highest compliment there is when it comes to coffee. The pastries were less impressive. My companion's Almond croissant looked like it had been run over it was so flat, but it tasted ok. My cinnamon bun was much better, soft, light and sticky. 5 star coffee, 3 star food.More

Before lockdown in 2020 Colombia Coffee in Summertown was one of the best and the nicest places for light refreshment in Oxford. This is sadly not the case any more. Quite understandably the proprietor diversified during lockdowns and sold all manner of (interesting and very...good ) produce. Now that the coffee drinkers -- sit-in and takeaway -- are back, the result is absolute chaos. People mill around outside with no direction given to those queuing to get in and those waiting for takeaways to be brought out to them. The tables are dirty, not cleaned between users and, if you order food and drink, the two do not come together -- and one of them may not come at all. You would have to rate the service now as poor although the coffee itself is still good. Let us hope they soon return to doing well what they can do well.More

One of the most enjoyable and aromatic coffee shops with plenty bean varieties for all tastes! Summetown branch offers also fresh produce, mostly from overseas, with prices that most won't be able to afford. We were dismayed when told that 'sweet granadilla' was not £2.91,...the price display said, per kilo but instead the price per unit. We have been plenty of times in Latinamerican and this fruit does not cost £30 approx. per kilo but rather way less. We felt obliged to buy them as the cafe staff told us in a commanding voice. We had a look at other fresh produce such as mango [from Peru] at £5 per unit; a punnet of raspberries [from Spain] £6; etc... Definitely returning for their coffee and tea selections but would not recommend buying their produce unless your purse allows it.More

Cozy coffee shop selling coffee as well as an eclectic variety of the drinks, light foods, baked goods, bread, cheese, and produce. Everything is generally great, but their hot chocolate (especially the Sierra Nevada blend with oat milk) is absolutely spectacular. You can tell it's...top quality cacao and it is simply one of the best hot chocolates I've ever had (especially as a vegan). I also enjoyed their vegan brownie, which is more of a chocolate cake with a hard chocolate covering, their delicious spiced cider (seasonal) and their sunflower rye bread. I hope they start offering more vegan baked goods in the future just so I have even more of an excuse to stop by for a hot chocolate. Cannot recommend it enough!More

If you're a coffee snob like me, don't look further than this. A team well drilled in the process from plant, to bean, to cup and with extreme enthusiasm too. Highly knowledgeable and dedicated to making every cup perfect, it may take a bit longer...than your local Costa or Starbucks, but quality should always be the priority when it comes to your go-go juice.More

Well-stocked and original coffee shop with a huge variety or hot drinks, cold drinks and cakes. Coffee shop is in a prime location for shoppers visiting the Covered Market and even offers tables and chairs for customers. The up to date interior design makes for...an excellent coffee shop.More

Had coffee here for the first time with friends. Although slightly overpriced it looked worth it. First complaint is the lack of cleaning the tables in between people sitting and leaving. On receiving our coffees we then noticed our teaspoons were dirty and the drinks...arrived barely luke warm. We then asked for sweetner which arrived not individually wrapped but in a tablet dispenser, which was clearly well used as it was sticky to touch. Overall not impressed and hesitant to return.More

Very concerned about lack of covid precautions. No table or chair cleaning between each use. Not much social distancing either. Also no customer details taken for eventual tracing and testing. This on a busy Saturday afternoon with a lot of people milling around.
