Great location, good menu, really friendly staff and nice traditional pub. Lovely open fire and located by the river, so great for the summer too. Lunched with friends. Food good, fresh, hot and good portion sizes. Waitress went above and beyond and service was efficient....More

Visited last week with family for a buffet lunch . Put us in a quiet area which was great . Good range of drinks although run out of port !

Not far from central Oxford but in centre of a pleasant natural site. The food is comforting and delicious. a great place to relax by the fire and enjoy a nice Ale or glass of quality wine

Guests, you will find us on the bank of the river cherwell we are the first & only pub on the direct punting route. We have a large beautiful riverside beer garden & so on sunny days we can get extremely busy & can have up to an hours wait on food, so on these occasions please bare with us, as all our food is fresh & prepared to order, sit back enjoy the view & a pint of our Wadworth ale. We do have an outside kitchen open on sunny days if you are in a rush or if you would prefer we do offer buffets. Pre-orders can be taken to speed your order up, please call to arrange.
