The gyoza here aren't too bad but they're not really gyoza - more like beijing dumplings. It's never very busy so I'm too nervous to try the sushi.

Although not overly aesthetically pleasing Moshi is perfect for eating something quick and filling on a lunch break. The tofu in their vegetarian dishes is some of the best I've eaten. Portion sizes are large and good value for money.

We ordered from here through Deliveroo and certainly won't be doing so again. The order was chicken gyoza, salmon and tuna nigiri and salmon sashimi. The gyoza was ok but the 'gyoza dipping sauce' was just malt vinegar. The fish came without soy sauce, wasabi or pickled ginger, which was disappointing. Also the nigiri rice was a tiny badly made... Regularly come to Moshi with co-workers. It has nice selection of dishes, and is cheap. The decoration is non-existent and I would not recommend it for a fancy lunch/dinner but for a quick snack it's perfect. Rice boxes are good and the sushi are nice. It is not traditional Japanese per se but more Japanese like.

I'm a local and I get food from this place a lot, especially when I'm stressed or feeling down. The rice boxes (chicken or pork) are the ultimate comfort food!! I'm pretty much addicted to them. The Sushi is always great. Food always comes in these white minimalist paper bags, and the interior is also decorated in a minimalist, non-pretentious... More

I had their rice dish, which they were advertising on the board outside. I ate inside and noticed that they just microwaved the rice, which was very dry, and tossed two pieces of shrimp on it. Overall the dish was very dry and unappetizing. The food was cheap (5.95 for rice and drink), but there are far better places in... More

It's an OK place to get lunch, mostly due to lack of better options in the area. Sushi is pretty decent, especially if you order it from the whiteboard. Grilled gyoza is OK. The rice dishes are microwaved and taste rather generic. Soups are OK, but are not Japanese. Overall, it's somewhat overpriced. The decor is very minimalistic and nearly... More

I'm always delighted to see a new sushi shop appear in Oxford and whilst Moshi provides a good range of Japanese cuisine and a good selection of sushi (including ika and tako), it is very expensive for what you get and many of the nigiri are so cold I expect they were made much earlier in the day and refrigerated.... I ordered online this evening, my order of teriyaki chicken was not in the slightest 'teriyaki'. We also ordered the pork belly with rice and vegetables which had the exact same flavourings of the chicken teriyaki - proving there was no teriyaki. The pork was fatty and the whole meal was just quite bland. The Sushi and Gyozas were nice... More
