Half price Prosecco on Thursdays, which i assure you, is a hit. I live in the Village, and frequent Jacobs regularly. It is always a pleasure to sit out and enjoy the Summer evenings. The Children have the animals to keep them entertained. The casual,...More

It's always been expensive but it was quirky enough to make it worth the occasional splash. Unfortunately this once great pub now just looks a bit tatty. The cigarette butts strewn over the garden lawn obviously were put left by poor customers but regularly clearing...More

Great meal in a great environment, some fellow diners were unhappy with plates being cleared while some people were still eating but I like finished plates being taken away soonest. We will definitely be coming back.

Ended up coming to this pub as we were staying in the area due to work. Good variety of food on offer, I was particularly impressed with the Crab Linguine and the Chicken and Bacon Pie. Serving staff were very attentive and the beer garden...More

I and a friend went here on a summer's evening for a meal. After we got our wines from the bar we were left to our own means. We found the menu, the waiter to order it, the cutlery, the oils. We didn't dare ask...More

Very expensive when you have to pay extra for chips etc when it should come with the meal. The extras make it expensive. Very small portions for desserts.

We have eaten well here in the past. This time was a disaster: Soup was advertised as with sour cream and chives - it came with neither and when we sent it back it returned with spring onions The asparagus was too tough to cut...More

We just turned up at about 7 pm and were able to sit outside without too much of a problem. You can call ahead but they only book the tables inside (I think). Amazing food, you will love it.
