Went for lunch on Sunday and sat outside in the garden. Pleasant lunch although you hear the buses running on Banbury road. The food was nicely presented and tasted very good. Cocktail was good and service very attentive.

A very pleasant setting near the centre of Oxford, if a bit too close to a busy main road. That's where the positives dried up. We waited at least twenty minutes for two bowls of soup. A cheeky head waitress suggested that they had gone...More

Visited the Old Parsonage to celebrate my parents Diamond Wedding anniversary. We were treated with a very warm reception ensuring my parents who are both in their 80's felt very special. We choose from the afternoon high tea menu and were not disappointed. A great...More

Read a review about this hotel by Raymond Blanc extolling the virtues of breakfast here so we thought it would be a great idea to do just that as we live reasonably nearby. There is some parking at the hotel but parts of the car...More

We ate at the Parsonage Bar & Grill simply because we were staying at the Old Parsonage Inn. But it was so good, we ate both of our dinners there on our only two nights in Oxford. The food, and the service, were really exemplary....More

This restaurant is very elegant, with the intimate atmosphere of a private club - I loved all the art work. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening here in June. I had the delicious crab as a starter and my daughter has the spinach...More

Though it is one of the more affordable afternoon teas in town, there is nothing about it that shows that. Great finger sandwiches, beautiful pastries and scones and excellent service all in a beautiful old hotel or outside on their gorgeous covered patio. Tip: Sit...More

What a lovely time we had. The service was excellent. The food was exceptional, mackerel terrine was Devine and salmon to follow for myself. My partner had goats curd for starters and followed with rabbit pie. Both were outstanding.

With lovely accommodations (we were told) in an ideally situated hotel in Oxford, The Old Parsonage is often a go-to location for group dining. Dining in a group can often produce a different experience from small-table dining. In our case, the food was very good...More

A unique combination of disdainful staff, poor cooking and overpriced food. Was good once (...and I've been many times...), but definitely a "no go" now.
