Buzzy on a Saturday night - but service was good. The first wine was poor, lacking in oomph for a Garnacha and one of the cheapest at @£28. Our starters, an octopus terrine was odd: the terrine just about made it, but some of the accompaniments had not been well chosen. The second wine was a little better, but a... More

We made a reservation for a table a Saturday evening, so of course the staff was very busy. However, we arrived on time, but we had to stand and wait additionally 10 min before we could sit at our table. The food was dear at the price - my risotto was way too salty and my father said that the... More

Attentive service and restaurant was full on Tuesday night. Menu is not extensive but everything we ate was tasty, well balanced and with good sized portions. Save room for their deserts !

Set in a conservatory this is a lovely looking restaurant and very close to the city centre. However the food although good is over priced for what it is. I ordered the scallop special; I was shocked when it arrived to find that there were only 2 very small scallops in butter, one with its roe and one without, the... More

Visited for a family celebration, and although a fascinating and interesting building the evening, and particularly the meal, did not come up to expectations.. One might expect a 'noise' problem in such a glass building, and for one who suffered from slight deafness it was certainly difficult to carry on a conversation with anyone other than one's immediate neighbour.. Lighting... More

On a visit down memory lane to Oxford my wife and I remember this restaurant when it was a flower shop, and the decor continues somewhat in this vein today. Lots of greenery. However far more customers flock through the door. The clientele when we were there is an eclectic blend. Young professionals, students and the older generation. The food is... We had a very bad experience here some time ago but decided it was time to try again. I am pleased to say that customer service is now good. The restaurant is obviously popular with others. We walked in at 5.30 on a Monday and while they could fit us in there were few tables available. By the time we... More

My son took me here for dinner and I could honestly say it's one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been in. I had the crostini and parfait starter which was surprisingly disappointing, the crostini so thinly sliced and over baked it just crumbled as soon as you touched it and the parfait was extremely bland and tasteless. My son's... More

We were here for a belated valentines dinner and it was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend, the dessert was out of this world, the staff friendly and the location just beautiful for a romantic evening. 10/10!!

We were let down by another restaurant late on Valentine's Day and phoned Gee's as friends had reccommended it. We didn't expect to be able to get in at such short notice. We were very lucky to get a table near the bar, I guess it was getting quite late by that time and some customers may have left. We... More
