A warm welcome as you arrive and plenty of choice on the menu whilst eating bread and olives. Food delicious and service is first class, unhurried but attentive. This is my second visit and I will return - if your in Reading pop in you won't regret it.

A small little restaurant near The Oracle. Food was great. The service started out strong and then deteriorated. When our food came, the staff didn't know who ordered what dish, so it took a minute to shout the name of the meal down the table of a party of 8. I'd kind of expect more from a nice-looking place. None... More

Loved it on the first visit, liked it second visit, was bored the third time by the menu. Better for brunch than dinner.

We use this restaurant frequently and it never fails to deliver with food quality for the price. Lunch menus are excellent with a changing list and all delivered to the table hot and without a uncomfortable wait. Wine a little expensive but good variety. Service charge applies at more than the 10% norm but acceptable bearing in mind the level... More

Ok, Reading was busy...the sun was shining and shoppers were out in their droves. We tried several places to relax and have a drink but all were jammed. Cote, probably due to the quality and location being a little further out from the Oracle, was perfect. It always is! We should have just gone there first rather than trying anywhere... More

We probably go to this restaurant 1-2 times a month, we like to go early in the evening before 7 or around that time. we eat off the main menu but the specials do always look good. I find the service particularly good at this restaurant all the staff make you feel welcome and want to make sure you have... More

Crowded, but the staff remained friendly. Took some time to take our order, but once taken the food came out extremely quickly. Food was excellent. Kids had mussels and fish pie. Wife and I had chicken. All very good. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Booked this as everywhere else was full but now very glad they were. Excellent food, great service and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Was a very busy lunch service but we were well informed that food may take a little longer to come out so was never a problem. Food was faultless and great value for money. Will definitely visit again.... More

Fantastic breakfast menu- recommend the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. The full breakfast also very good - my partner had this, I just helped with the extra toast.
