On a trip to Reading and stumbled upon this little gem by pure chance. The food was great, the service attentive and friendly and I enjoyed the most amazing chocolate fondant I have ever tasted!

Ate here with friends. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and we sat at a comfortable table on the upper level. The menu is very varied, great choice and thankfully no festive menu! Good choice of both starters and mains, well presented. The food was tasty and...More

I had a lovely lunch at this venue. The prawns starter was very tasty although I thought some bread should have been included with the prawns. My liver and bacon was cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was lovely. Washed down with a few glasses...More

Nice food, lively bustling atmosphere, although acoustics not great downstairs, difficult to hear your tables conversation. Staff very helpful. But after all the publicity over peanuts/mints/snacks in open dishes and the bacteria population they contain, I’m surprised to see. Salt and pepper in loose trays...More

I have eaten here before and the restaurant is showing it's age. The place could do with a good luck of paint and new chairs. The table I was sat at had food up the wall. Well that's the bad part. The service was excellent...More

Visited Saturday evening with friends who had not been before. They were impressed. The menu had a good, diverse selection of dishes which meant choosing took some time. All dishes were excellent. The Malbec was a very good choice. Staff pleasant, attentive and helpful. Customer...More

The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
