Family over from USA impulse lunch, just fabulous! Fish and chips impressed our American son in law. Veggie options also different but they worked. Went for the set menu, very good quality food.

We went for dinner as was overcharged on drinks.. a bottle of wine and 2 cocktails. Food was rushed and it took ages to sort out the bill. Be careful if you are having pre dinner drinks before been seated for your meal. Always check...More

I always think if a restaurant can execute a vegetarian dish well , you know it’s a great little place. So I went for the veggie option and it did not disappoint. Starters were fab and my family had desserts, you could just tell they...More

With a heavy heart I must say this was a very disappointing experience. We had mezze platter to share and I had escalope with clams for main. Mezze platter was extremely average for a price of £9. Hummus was ok but the rest? Olives were...More

My meal at this restaurant (29.08.18) started really well with good service and the starters were of a very high standard and presented very well. Unfortunately, my sister who ordered the pork chop was then taken by surprise when she found her pork was not...More

We had an early dinner here with friends and our girls. The service was very friendly. Excellent menu choice. Don’t have an explicit kids menu but flexible in working something out for kids. Really enjoyed the evening.

Great fixed price menu, though small selection, at £16.50 for 2 courses plus x4. 50 for dessert, though not all of us stuck to it. Lovely smoked salmon, excellent Iberico ham, very nice Cornish crab. Very nice sea bass mains, though the veg could have...More

We ate a menu consistent on entry and main dish for a very reasonable cost and we enjoyed wonderful sea bass or a great vegetarian dish (falafel and carrots). Good service, tactful and amicable owner on site. Highly advisable!

A fabulous lunch with friends, selected from other Trip Advisir reviews.... We were not disappointed. One member of our group was not too happy with the couscous element of her meal when it arrived - it was clumped and tasteless, however, after discussion with the...More

Description
The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
