It is quite pricey but well worth it for a treat. Or special occasion. The staff always treat you very well and the menu selection is varied enough there is something for everyone.

My husband and I had the most superb meal on Monday lunchtime. Dan, and his staff made us very welcome and looked after us wonderfully. So caring and thoughtfully, as well as professional. Pink champagne was chilled ready and waiting for us on our table....More

Sunday evening, not many people, attentive service, good wine list, venison good (the point of the haggis being ???), the plum souflee out of this world. The place can be mediocre but this time it redeemed itself. 125 quid for 2

Description
The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
