The new manager only took over this pub recently but we felt he is going places. We were staying overnight, the room was lovely and the full English breakfast was excellent. The gin cocktail before we went out was fab. Well recommended.

Attentive polite staff served our aesthetically pleasing food and it didn't disappoint, it was absolutely delicious. To say it has been in new ownership for only a short time it appears to be on the up and up, it was very busy and Dave, the new owner, was most friendly. What more could this place need, friendly owner, waiting staff... More

This place is under new management. I don't know what it was like before April 2017 but it's really really good now. Lovely atmosphere; real fires; great, caring staff; good menu and drinks. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

As above, the Mustard Pot has recently undergone a change of management. The manager Dave is a really pleasant engaging guy full of enthusiasm for his new venture. The new menu looks amazing and having sampled some of the food we can thoroughly recommend it. Real Ales on tap, whilst we were there Hobgoblin, Timothy Taylors boltmaker and a blonde.... More

The food was lovely, a little slow but very fresh (so worth the wait). Would recommend, both our plates were empty :)

I called in to Ye Olde Mustard Pot for my partner's birthday dinner last night and the food was amazing. I always thought I made the best pies, but I now stand corrected. This is the best pie I've ever had - absolutely stuffed with lovely tender steak, gorgeous buttery pastry, nice gravy, and great mash. The place felt really... More

Took my wife, 11 month old daughter, mother and mother in law and it was a complete disorganised chaotic joke. Food was undercooked. On ordering deserts they never came.

We visited the week the place had gone under new management - and we certainly have nothing but compliments. The menu choice was great, not too many but enough to satisfy everyones tastes. The food was all beautifully home made, good portions and really well served, delicions food. Will definitely be making a return trip especially to eat when we... More
